The 99s – “Oh Me, Oh My” [VIDEO]

Meet the 99s. Their music reflects where they come from. From the foothills of Saddleworth, (Northwest Manchester, UK) the 99s bring a rock/country/whatever-you-want-to-call-it style to their music, inspired by where they came from. As for full disclosure, I dig these guys, not only for their music, but because they are all Manchester United supporters (even their name, the “99s” is inspired by the magical year that United won the treble.) With that said, I hope I didn’t lose any Liverpool or City fans that follow the Beat-Play Experiment.  Check out their video “Oh me, Oh my” below:

Major Lazer ft. Andy Milonakis – “Zumbi” [VIDEO]

Found this one while searching around on the vimeo network for some Major Lazer videos. Love the electronic reggae beats he’s been pumpin out and was lookin for a jumpin’ track to kick the weekend off with. Just happened to come across this hilarious song he did with Andy Milonakis and SlothVision. So whether you’re looking to dance and sit back and have a laugh, Major Lazer and Andy will take care of that with ‘Zumbi’

Inflowential – “Sheriff” [VIDEO]

Often compared to the Roots, Inflowential brings a fresh new sound to hip-hop.  Hailing from Greensboro, NC, Inflow’s jazzy, soul sounds resonates from two MCs, a guitarist, bassists, DJ, and a master beat-boxer. This following is a fresh take on Bob Marley’s hit, inspired by recent alleged police brutality in our major cities.
