“Life Is For The Living.” Ryan Michaels Band Unveils New Music Video For Title Track.

“For me there’s a spiritual connection when you hear a meaningful lyric paired with a memorable melodic hook. Drawing from my own personal life experiences I want to create those moments so that people can relate to my music. This is what inspires me to perform and write songs.” – Ryan Michaels

Rising from the Tennessee rock scene, these rockers have burst on to the scene, gaining popularity with each passing day since their debut album, Life Is For The Living, was released last fall. Along with popularity, RMB has recieved nominations in multiple categories from the Nashville Independent Music Awards.

Last week, RMB unveiled the music video to the title track. Motivated by real life stories from those living in Nashville, “Life Is For The Living” is all about the power of life and making the best of it in every situation. An anthem of sorts, this song is melody-driven and full of inspiring lyrics.

You can find more information out about RMB and tour stops at the band’s website, RyanMichaelsBand.com, or check them out on facebook.

Spoek Mathambo – “Control” [VIDEO]

Spoek Mathambo

Spoek Mathambo has just finished recording his first solo album, Mshini Wam, which cultivates his take on Afro-futurism and is just a sample of what Africa has in store for the future of progressive electronic music.  Mathambo is just 25 years old, but has already risen to become one of the foremost recognized exporters of the new South African club music – he dubs it as Township Tech.  Check out Mathambo’s video for Control that one young directors award for Pieter Hugo and Michael Cleary at Cannes this year.
