Benjamin Zander is a Jewish American conductor and the current director of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. Like most people, I have not been exposed to enough classical music to gain true appreciation. My experience is limited to a few shows and early memories with my Uncle who had an insatiable thirst for the mysterious genre. In this TEDTalk, Zander takes us through the progression of a Chopin prelude while teaching us a few things about life.
