Jeremy Loops – “My Shoes- performed live at The Assembly” [VIDEO]

Jeremy Loops is an incredibly talented modern day one man folk-band.  While spending a few years yachting around the world he had time to experiment with different instruments and sounds.  By using his loop pedal, guitar, ukulele, harmonica and beatboxing skills Jeremy composes rich melodies that impress his growing number of fans.  Although his music can stand alone Jeremy is well known for performing with other artists.  In a recent interview with One Small Seed he said, “I love feeding off other artist’s energy on stage, and am always looking for ways to keep things fresh. Having various artists included in my act or featured in one of my loops, is a great way to achieve this.”  In his spare time Jeremy is actively involved with two other friends in Greenpop, which aims to plant trees in under-greened areas of the Western Cape.

Stone Age Citizens – “Disc-go! vol 1” [MUSIC]

This Cape Town indie-electro band is headlining tonight at The Assembly’s new creation, See You Next Wednesday.    Matthew Symonds and Myles Hornbuckle created their DJ-duo in June 2010 and have recently began performing at dance floors around the city.  This fun-loving group loves to interact with their audience, drink, dance and have fun…sounds like Wednesday’s just got a whole lot better.
