Everyone says it’s always about your timing especially when dropping any sort of news and I must say it was pretty damn good right now as NERO just posted their latest video release. The video features the forthcoming single, “Crush On You” which is to be released October 16th 2011. This initially cheerful track takes to chaos as the killer dubstep bass tones take over your ears and the life of the video. Definitely a great one to have stumbledupon at such a perfect moment. Not really much to add here as I was in the middle of some other work but I just had to get this out to you as I was hearing it for the first time!
So I know most of you on here know of The Diplomats. You know, the harlem hiphop group started by rappers Cam’Ron and Jim Jones. Well I heard the new single “Streetz Tonight” as my first AraabMuzik song and was just completely blown away by the killer composition and transitioning between hip-hop and dance with such ease. Turns out that Araab’s been rollin’ under The Diplomats for quite sometime and definitely making his mark as one of the illest producers in the game on an MPC. Having only been in the spotlight for a few years he is really starting to make a name for himself with the recent release of his solo debut album Electronic Dreams. Here’s the first track I heard and one of his top singles so far, “Streetz Tonight”
After hearing that track you sense that heavy hiphop influence throughout the rhythms and drums, while incorporating that ever popular trance synth the modern party scene looks for in a dance hit. This Providence, Rhode Island native has definitely bagged a new sound and something with much room to build on. I’m excited to have heard such an amazing album in Electric Dreams and I encourage you to check it out. This second track builds beautifully off the ecstasy of female vocals dropped into a sick hip-hop breakdown suitable for any listen experience. Here is “Golden Torch”

Doing his thing from Cologne, Germany is HOUSE producer and dj, David Puentez with his most recent original drop ‘Melodrama’. This is a banger for sure and definitely one to take this rising star closer to the top of the club scene worldwide. It’s this type of progressive sound that’s keepin’ all the fist pumpers up till the morning hours and coming back for more. Gotta spread the love on this one and visit David Puentez for more of his tracks.
Here is the title song off of the recently debuted “Shrimps” EP on BeatPort from German producer Homeboi. This album was released early February and really kills it but this is the only track you can purchase without having any remixers. The originality alone puts this song on a totally different level as the rest from the EP. Check it out

Internationally recognized afrobeat group THE SUPERPOWERS have been hailed by critics as a “poly-rhythmic juggernaut.”
Originally formed as the Boston Afrobeat Society, having won the 2007 Phoenix Best Music Poll and 2006 Boston Music Award for Best World Music Act, this 21st-Century Dance Band represents the finest of the “Afrobeat Revival.” They have played packed houses throughout the Eastern U.S. and shared the stage with internationally renowned artists including Sierra Leone’s Refugee All-Stars, John Browns Body, Aphrodesia, and NOMO.
THE SUPERPOWERS have been unemployed since July 2009……
I highly recommend going to their myspace to listen to their recorded music. They’re awesome..
