City And Colour – Little Hell [NEW MUSIC]

In January 2010, City and Colour embarked on an additional US headlining tour, again supporting Bring Me Your Love, with supporting act Lissie, and an additional UK tour in June 2010, supporting P!nk, along with Butch Walker, along with a few headlining dates. On these tours, Dallas Green has performed two new songs by the titles of “Silver and Gold” and “Oh Sister”, as well as a couple of never-played-before covers – “Murderer”, originally by Low, and “Grinnin’ In Your Face”, originally by Son House.

In an interview with Alter the Press, Green has revealed that he has written a bunch of new songs and he just needs to record them for his next record, hinting on a possible early 2011 release date for his third studio album. He said that there are 15 songs that he really likes and he expects around 10 to appear on his next album.

The Weeknd – “Rolling Stone” [NEW MUSIC]

The Weeknd

The Weeknd just dropped his latest tracks on youtube last week and for some reason it has been removed because it violates Youtubes Terms and Services!!!! DUMB!!! Thanks to soundcloud we were able to grab the original version of this instant acoustic-vibin’ hit brought to you by 2011’s top R&B artist. Definitely staying consistent with his quality continually raising the bar higher and higher for himself. Here is “Rolling Stone”

So we finally got ahold of that track, but that’s not all that’s going on in the music world of The Weeknd. Since his infamous release of House Of Balloons earlier this year, many fans have been comprising music videos for the artist to show there never-ending support. Some videos weren’t really recognized by the Weeknd but others kindly caught his graces such as the most recent release for his track “Wicked Games”. Directed by Storm Saulter

4 Track Mag – Great Mics For Recording Vocals Under $300

4 Track Mag has put together a small list of mics that can get you started with recording vocals. These are some really great microphones for the money. I have a blue myself, and they’re awesome!

Shure SM27

Hands down this is just a great mic to own. It sounds awesome on whispery, intimate vocal lines as well as other instruments. Pick one up for recording vocals and you’ll find yourself micing guitar and drums with it as well.

Blue Bluebird Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser

This is truly a great mic and it’s a steal for the price. It’s actually shocking that a microphone of this quality can be purchased for under $300. The Bluebird is built with a Class-A discrete amplifier circuit and the clarity can be heard in recordings. If you’re looking for a mic that will add a bit of character without sacrificing clarity to your vocal recordings, this is it.
