Tyler The Creator – “Yonkers” [VIDEO]

So I came across this hiphop crew Odd Future with and happen to find this new video release of Tyler The Creators’ newest video for the opening track to his second album “GOBLIN”. Besides the video being very creative with a great use of the lighting and shadows, the lyrics and flow that Tyler The Creator brings on this track is just “swag”. Here some more by Tyler The Creator and Odd Future.

Mountain Standard Time Live at Cervantes’ Denver, CO [Photos]

Mountain Standard Time

Home grown and cultivated in the beautiful state of  Colorado, Mountain Standard Time is not your ordinary bluegrass band. Although, they have strong roots tied to the bluegrass community, they have created a sound that pushes the boundaries of traditional bluegrass music. The band has chosen to incorporate a sax, big drums, electrical bass, and other electric effects to give them that big band sound capped with there own unique style. MST is proud to announce the release of their self-titled debut album and believe me it’s good. You can pick up your copy here.

P.H. Fat – “Dinosaur Blood” [MUSIC]

The three-man Cape Town band released their first album “Dinosaur Blood” last week at Assembly’s album launch party Saturday night.  This electronic bass –rap style is hypnotic and the lyrics may cause you to think they watched too much Discovery channel.  Regardless of their influences, they have a unique sound and are worth checking out.  Mike, Narch and Disco first started performing in the Mother City at the end of 2008 and have played at several South African festivals.  Give their title track a listen…
